Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende hands over first copy of CD

Monday morning 16th October, Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende of the Netherlands personally hands over the first copy of the newly released CD of Rembrandt the Musical to some of the leading actors, while praising the high quality of both show and cast.

Henk Poort soon in ‘Kicks’
After his highly acclaimed part in Nachtrit  Henk Poort will soon be back on the widescreen, playing the personal coach and trainer of  professional kick boxer Said (Mimoun Oaissa) in the film Kicks (by the same producers of Shouf Shouf Habibi).  Kicks will open mid February 2007 in cinemas across the Netherlands

Rembrandt celebrates Christmas at the Nieuwe Luxor Theatre Rotterdam
Due to the enormous success of the hit musical Rembrandt at the Royal Theatre Carré the musical will be extended for another three weeks and will move to the Nieuwe Luxor Theatre Rotterdam for a special Christmas celebration, opening on the 19th December. Rembrandt is shown exclusively at these theatres.

Tintin is coming to the Netherlands
The international tour of the musical Tintin and the Temple of the Sun will start off with a gala premiere at the Nieuwe Luxor Theatre Rotterdam. The creative team behind this major musical project drew its inspiration from this particular adventure, being one of the most thrilling Hergé ever created for his hero.
And they are all back: Snowy, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus and the Thompsons. Henk Poort will re-live the part of Captain Haddock, the part he played five years ago in the Belgian tour.

‘Nachtrit’ the movie
 The movie Nachtrit will have its opening night in September of this year. The movie (directed by Dana Nechustan and starring Frank Lammers and Peggy Jane de Schepper) will open on 30th September 2006 at the national film festival in Utrecht. Henk Poort plays the role of Ome Jan Bremer, manager of a cab company. For more information visit www.nachtrit.nl

 Rembrandt the Musical:
